Portugal is my new Home Like many, I came to Portugal for a new beginning and a better future. Lisbon is a very nice city to live in. The sun, the greenery and the people are what states that Portugal is one of the best countries in the world. The first couple of months I lived as a tourist, stayed in intercontinental Lisbon, everyday I visited different places, tried the traditional food. Then when all my legal papers were ready my journey to look for a job started. But here comes the surprise! I don’t know Portuguese, not a word. I've never studied Portuguese in my life nor know a word of it. Speaking English was fine almost everywhere, but trying to find a job was a bit challenging and the valid option was to find a English speaking job for now.
